Exploited Labor for a Jobs Campaign

I remember well my years as a struggling new designer eager for recognition. Many artists fall into the trap of pro-bono work in hopes of strengthening their portfolio. Work for non-profits is a wonderful way to gain recognition that leads to projects for hire, yet this article points to the all too true state of the design market. It seems that everyone wants professional design for their organization or marketing campaign, but they do not value the professionalism required for the outcome.
